ICE detention durations head to SCOTUS, media continues to stand up against Trump collectively, and more.

It’s Tuesday. When Trump banned CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House, the rest of the press pool had a choice: protect themselves or stand together. They chose solidarity. TV networks refused to reassign the pool camera. Photographers joined the boycott. Trump's grand reception of Xi Jinping — an event he desperately wanted on television — went largely uncovered by American press. He erupted in fury on Truth Social. That fury confirmed what this week proved: collective resistance works.

A federal judge has now called the ban likely unconstitutional. Trump's approval is cratering. House seats he carried by double digits are suddenly toss-ups. The press corps held the line at exactly the right moment — and it cost him. An authoritarian without an audience is just a man shouting into a void. Please keep standing together. The public is counting on it.

In addition, SCOTUS will soon decide case on whether ICE can detain immigrants indefinitely. And ProPublica dives into DraftKings—maintaining an account betting like a gambling addict and being rewarded for it in the app.
