Trump claims Somalis reduced number of Minnesota lakes, DOJ attack on Calif. elections appears bust, and more.
Hi there,
It’s Thursday. Three weeks before Election Day, the Trump DOJ gave California a 48-hour ultimatum: review a thumb drive of 20,000 alleged noncitizens on voter rolls, segregate their mail ballots, and comply — or face a lawsuit. California asked a simple question: how did you compile this list? The DOJ refused to explain. California officials noted the administration had 21 months with full control of the federal government to raise these concerns. The DOJ then charged 28 people with voting crimes and filed an emergency request to stop California from processing ballots from people it could not confirm were actually noncitizens.
This is not election integrity. It is election interference — timed deliberately to sow chaos, suppress votes, and manufacture a fraud narrative before November 3. A federal judge this month found the DOJ ran “roughshod” over civil rights with its voter roll audit plans. The administration had every opportunity to investigate this before voting began. The public deserves reporting that names the tactic for what it is — before ballots are counted, not after.
In addition, Donald Trump (80) said Minnesota now has fewer lakes because of Somali immigrants. And, how the people profiting from ICE’s concentration camps are trying to buy the Senate for Republicans.
