SCOTUS delays mifepristone decision, Hegseth again attacks Sen. Kelly, and SPLC faces threats from the financial system.

Hi there,

It’s Tuesday. Virginia Democrats asked the U.S. Supreme Court to revive its voter-approved map after the state court overthrew the election in a 4-3 decision. The Southern Poverty Law Center, battling a politically-motivated indictment from the federal government is also contending with being blacklisted by donor-advised funds. And the Supreme Court further delayed its decision on mifepristone access, extending the availability of the medication by mail for another three days.

The Supreme Court’s latest actions targeting mifepristone are not isolated legal disputes—they are part of a broader, coordinated right-wing campaign to roll back reproductive healthcare and restrict access to birth control. Yet too much media coverage treats these cases as narrow abortion disputes or procedural court fights rather than examining the organized political movement driving them.

The public deserves reporting that connects the dots before more rights are dismantled.
