Iran water facilities were bombed by the US -- a war crime, Trump pulls Bill Pulte as DNI, and more.
Hi there,
It’s Friday. Donald Trump has already pulled the plug on Bill Pulte as DNI after FISA stalls in Congress. The US military struck water facilities in Iran, a clear war crime say experts.
And recent reports that nearly two dozen specialists were involved in Trump’s medical evaluations, coupled with limited disclosures about the nature of those consultations, raise legitimate questions about transparency. The health of a president can affect national security, decision-making, and the functioning of government. The public has a right to know whether complete and accurate information is being provided.
When administrations withhold information about a president’s medical condition, provide incomplete disclosures, or refuse to answer basic questions about treatment and evaluations, journalists should not simply move on.
Americans deserve transparency from their leaders, especially when questions involve the health and capacity of a sitting president.
