Fracking Ban in Delaware River Basin survives legal challenge, Trump's election denier address, and more.

Hi there,

It’s Friday. Last night, Donald Trump delivered a primetime address on "election integrity." His press secretary had promised it would be full of "facts and evidence." When asked directly whether Trump would accept the results of this November's midterms, she refused to answer.

This was not a news event. It was a propaganda event — and the media's decision about how to cover it matters enormously. The public deserves real-time fact-checking, full historical context, and reporting that refuses to normalize the lie.

In addition, the ICE officers who killed Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero in Maine this week were wearing body cameras. However, they were not turned on. And, in a story underscoring just how deep the corruption runs in the Trump administration — the operator of Trump’s teleprompter made over $100,000 on bets placed on Kalshi over Trump’s speeches.

Until next time,
