Meta runs ICE ad featuring neo-Nazi anthem, Trump throw Bondi under the bus, Gabbard whistleblower complaint dismissed by Republicans, and more.
Hi there,
It’s Friday. Meta is currently running an ICE ad featuring a neo-Nazi anthem. Donald Trump is throwing Attorney General Pam Bondi under the bus, saying it was her insistence as to why Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was at the Fulton county election office raid. Republicans are also dismissing a whistleblower complaint against Gabbard, which alleges she withheld classified information for political reasons.
In addition, Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) warns that Trump’s threat to ‘nationalize’ elections is very real. Sen. Warner’s warning that Donald Trump and his allies are planning a coordinated effort to interfere in the 2026 midterms is not speculation or partisan messaging—it is a serious alarm from a senior lawmaker with deep knowledge of election security threats. Plans to undermine election administration, intimidate officials, and delegitimize results pose a direct risk to democratic governance. When coverage minimizes or fragments credible alerts about election interference, it leaves the public unprepared and allows anti-democratic strategies to advance without sustained scrutiny.
