US labor movement sets up a centralized strike fund, Trump admin. muses bailout for UAE, and Trump's approval rating continues to sink amid Iran War.
Hi there,
It’s Tuesday. The American labor movement set up a centralized strike fund to support workers, adding organizing support to workers. Some news sites in the Middle East have been uncovered as US government propaganda. And Trump is pushing a massive financial lifeline to the United Arab Emirates despite the massive business ties with Trump’s family.
When financial relationships, foreign governments, and presidential decision-making intersect, the central question is not strategy—it is whether public power is being used for private or political gain. Framing it as policy obscures the possibility of self-dealing.
The public deserves reporting that follows the money and names corruption when it appears, not coverage that normalizes it.
